Portuguese cattle dog picture
The Portuguese Cattle Dog of the Azores (in Portuguese "Cão de Fila") are good herding dogs. They are a rare pure breed dogs thanks to the relative isolation of the Azores islands, which prevented crossbreeding with foreign dogs. They also make good guard dogs.

The
Fila de São Miguel Dogs are strong and intelligent dogs that learn quickly and meet with brio the expectations of their masters.

The coat of the
Fila de São Miguel Dog is short, thick and rough, and the hair colour reddish-yellow, streaked, and grey, also streaked, with dark and light shades.

For learning on how to take good care of your dog or puppy, follow Barry's tips.
