title of the text about rabbits

How does a rabbit look like?
Well, a rabbit is a small fast-running mammal with long ears, long hind legs, and a short tail.

What are the main differences between a rabbit and a hare?
Hares are larger than rabbits; and their hind legs too are longer than those of rabbits. Rabbits in the wild are ground dwellers; they construct burrows. Hares live in simple nests above the ground. Rabbits are naked, blind, and helpless at birth, while newborn hares already have hair and are able to see.

What are rabbits used for?
They are bred or hunted for meat, which is a source of high quality protein. Rabbit pelts are used in for clothing and accessories. Rabbits are sometimes kept as pets.

What is the name of a baby or young rabbit?
It is called kitten, which is also the name for the young of certain other animals, such as the cat or the beaver.

How is a rabbit fed?
Rabbits are herbivores, so they are fed by grazing on grass, forbs, leafy weeds, and dry bread; they love carrots! As rabbits use their teeth for cutting their food, they were once considered as belonging to the order of rodents, just as mice, rats, squirrels, and porcupines, but this is no longer the case.
