  What is a cloud?
A cloud is a white or grey mass of small drops of water floating in the air. .

How do clouds form?
Cloud formation results from the cooling of a volume of air until a part of its water vapour condenses. If the cooling process takes place close to the ground (in contact with a cold surface, for example), fog is formed. Clouds can also lose part of their mass in the form of precipitation: rain, sleet or snow. .

What types of clouds are there?
. Clouds can be of several types, such as: cirrus, cumulus, cirrostratus, cirrocumulus.
