title of the page on the Christmas chocolate cake recipe

This is my favourite Christmas cake, and the recipe comes from the grandmother of my dear “boss”. I hope you'll love it too.

Don't forget to wash your hands carefully before starting cooking and to leave the kitchen in the same condition as you found it.

Kitchen utensils you’ll need: Mixing bowl, wooden spoon, silver paper, Christmas decorations.

- 100 g powder chocolate
- 250g sugar
- 100 g "Bolachas Maria"
(Portuguese biscuit)
or any other biscuit, i.e. "De Beukelaer"
- 50 g butter
- 1 eggf

For the topping

- chocolate paste "Tulicreme", "Nucreme" or any home-made chocolate paste

1 - Beat the egg, the sugar and the butter together.

2 - Add the powder chocolate to the mixture and beat again.

3 - Add the biscuit in small pieces and mix again all the ingredients.
Handy Hint: you may use your fingertips.

4 - Cover a rectangular serving plate with silver-coloured paper and pour in the mixture.

5 - Give the mixture the form of a piece of wood and cut the two ends for a better presentation.

> 6 - Cover with the chocolate paste, and with the help of a fork imitate the wood veins.

7 - Decorate with colour balls and other Christmas ornaments.

8 - Put in the refrigerator until serving time.

Bom apetite!
